More voices

Any chance of getting multiple recordings of individual characters and/or words? For example, some male voices? This would show some variation and would help to both recognize and reproduce the correct range of sounds.

And yes, I do really like the ChinesePod audio that comes after for some words (and miss it when it isn't in the library).

Probably not, at least in the near future. ChinesePod provided the single-character syllable audio as well, and we're not currently set up to do our own recordings. We could be, if it was a priority, but I doubt that'll happen for a while.

We would be able to filling in missing audio for words not in ChinesePod's lessons, though, which would be cool. Hope we can get to it some day.

do more words get added automatically as Chinesepod records more or is it a once in a while (or never?) thing?

They get added automatically, but we recently noticed a bug with it that we're investigating that may have caused some to not get added. We'll figure it out, though.
