No sound in iOS

tianHaneul   June 28th, 2012 8:46p.m.

I've been using Skritter on iOS for two days now, and it's damn amazing.

However, I have not yet heard a single sound come out of it, and if I am reading correctly, it's supposed to pronounce the words. I have sound on on my iPhone, and every other app is producing sound... not sure if there's some setting I should know about?

I guess you've checked over the settings to make sure sound volume is up, and either sound effects or auto pronounce is on? There's also a button there to download extra sounds which couldn't be included with the main app.

I downloaded the extra sounds. All the sound settings are on o.o

Can you tell me where this button is? I don't see it. I'm using an iPad.

He's talking about the silent switch above the volume buttons. If that switch is on, it won't play any of the sounds. On iPad, it's often configured to be the rotation lock switch instead.
