I know that more than I feel that some words can be spaced out to far to fast. I did actually manage to space out some really simple ones to 9 years in just one week. One way to let us go back to those earlier could be to add a new export function where we could state e.g. words that are spaced out more than 1 year or 6 month in to the future. From the exported words it is easy to create an list and cram only that list or the sections to see if we really still remember them. I have an tendency to over practice starred words and that can easily lead to words getting spaced out way to long. I think that if we then mark a word from such a list as wrong it would be put back to a more normal repetition.
Talking about exports, i think that other people have asked about export function for sentences. I would love that too while waiting for any skritter function to study sentences and patterns in an efficient way. For now I do as probably many others do and that is to create this in Anki. Not perfect but better than nothing. To be able to write whole sentences and patterns in skritter would suit me very well. I have no problem if that would require an premium account or similar.
Yet other features could be to sign up for study pals from skritter. Many users are using the same books and are on the same levels so practice together, via e.g common schedule, goals Skype comm, chat etc. could help. Maybe even group practice. I did take an distance course in Chinese Via a Swedish university last year that used very nice software to enable all students to use video/voice, whiteboard/Chat etc. Worked well. I where sitting in Japan and had 同学们 sitting in Sweden, Germany, Australia etc.
A simple on line chat to practice Chinese would be fun as well. The forum is a fun place but i still think that we all could use some more social interaction to motivate us.
Finally i would like to say that i really love the new lists system. Works perfectly for me. Really great job you did there!
No, time for me to get back to study now instead after this distraction.
