Language Setting on iOS App.

My language is set to German, but the app gives me everything in English instead, although it works fine on the website. This way I don't know words that I would know when learning on the website. :(

I've had a couple of other reports of this bug. Try this: toggle the language to English, then back to German. Then, if it still doesn't work, restart the app. This worked for one other user.

Nope this didn't work for me. :(

I did the following:
- tapped under language setting on "Deutsch"
- Skritter then started to download the db again
- when going back, Skritter still used the English db
- I switched my I-Phone completely off and then on
- then Skritter used the German db.
I did the same on my I-Pad and it also worked there.

I tried that, but it didn't work either. Thank you though.
Oh yeah, sometimes (only when I have to write the characters) the definitions are German, but it really rare.

sijiali, I don't know the Skritter app, but the only thing I could think of is to de-install and then re-install the app. During initial set-up it should download all your items (in English, look how many items are downloaded, it shows in the progress window), then follow the steps above again and watch out, whether it again downloads all your items, this time in German (again, look how many items should be downloaded and are actually downloaded, compare this with the first download, should be almost the same number of items).
If this doesn't help, then only Nick can further assist you, but at least you know then, that everything is downloaded correctly and you can give Nick the numbers of the downloaded items, perhaps, it can help him tracing the bug. It might be, that your original download was done only partially (e.g. network error).
