I study writing tone reading and definition but the ios app is only giving me writing. Do set up what I want to study inside of the app as well as on the website?

At a guess I'd say this is just skritter spacing, keep studying and they'll show up.

Skritter normally doesn't show you everything at once. It won't show you the tone prompts till you've learnt the writing as it tries to separate the parts. If you just saw the writing prompt then immediately tone prompt you wouldn't have to really remember the tone since you would have just heard it. So skritter makes sure you haven't seen a character for a while before showing a new prompt to ensure that your really learning each part and not just cheating because you saw it 5 seconds ago.

Thank you for your reply, however if I use the website I get a little of everything. Most notably things I got wrong show up with more frequency.

In the ios app I got 32 minutes of character writing no repeats for wrong characters and none of the other three parts all of which I study.

I can't continue to use the app if it will be this limited compared to the website. Nor do I believe this is the way it is supposed to work.

I'd suggest two things... first, connect to wifi and check that everything is synced (maybe it didn't all download). Then, try checking in the in-app settings (vocab tab) that all four parts are turned on.

Sadly all synced, and all selected. When I go on the ios device I just keep getting new words. Now at 50 some minutes no repeats and not the other three parts but if I sign into the website it shows I have a ton of reviews. I have turned the ipod right off and back on same thing.

I think I'll just give it a try again tomorrow.

What happens when you go to the account settings view and press data status at the bottom? It will compare with the server to make sure you have all your data. If it shows a mismatch or it's still giving you trouble anyway, I'd suggest clearing your data on the phone (same place in the account settings) and logging in again, downloading everything once more.
