Skritter on Nexus S

Has some issues. It's not my standard skritter device, i'm just trying it out. So it looks like I'll be hanging out for the dual core devices!

Strokes display even if not recognised (raw squigs mode), screen does not clear properly. Ends up freezing with big blocks of pen colour on the screen after a few minutes. 'Show' does not work properly.

The flash has to be tapped to re-focus every time you click outside the square for hints. Plus the whole flash square is slow to respond to input which has been pointed out before.

Yeah this is perfectly normal, I'm still having the same issues with my Nook Color. I reckon Flash for Android is just not very mature yet.

I've heard some more issues with this lately, perhaps having something to do with a new version of Flash for Android. I haven't had time to debug it yet. It was relatively stable (if a little slow) for a long time before the last month or so. I might be able to fix something with it, but not sure.

It might also be only certain devices which are unstable.

The necessity of tapping to focus the Flash is unavoidable, sadly.

So it actually used to better once? What I really didn't like besides the above mentioned bugs, is the rather slow reaction time. Not sure if it is a performance thing and I wouldn't say it's actually slow but it still isn't instant like on my netbook.

The speed varies across devices, but there's always been somewhat of a delay. You can get going faster by writing ahead of the rendering and recognition, but it only goes so far.

Yeah would be interesting to know whether Skritter works faster on Tegra 2 devices with dual core CPUs.
