Too frequent repetition

Help says: "If you press the next button (or space, or right arrow, or enter) without answering a prompt, while it still has a green border, then it is counted as correct. This provides an easy way to skip through reviews you know easily without having to spend the time doing them. You can also press 4 to mark them as too easy, and they'll be pushed even further back."
However I have just started on the Hoenig list and the same words keep coming up every few words regardless of what I do. I know I have a big backlog of all my lists, and if they were words I have trouble with I wouldn't mind, but despite telling the computer that they are too easy these ones just keep repeating.

I'm also having the same problem, didn't have this problem earlier though.

I was also having frequent repetition with a different list.

I went into Settings -> Account -> Status. Under "Compared with Server" I had "Items" showing as a mismatch.

Back on the Settings page I picked Clear Local Data. After I re-entered my username/password a synch was automatically completed.

Since then I have not had the same repetition problems. This may (or may not) be a coincidence.

If this is on iOS sometimes I find that force quitting Skritter helps new words to show up when it gets stuck ( http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137 )

I didn't know aobut the "Clear local Data" function, so that might work just as well- I'll try that first next time.

I started having this problem a few days back on the beta site. The "to review" number never went below a certain value and would always jump back up after few words.

Switching to the regular version solved that for me.

This was a bug with the beta site, at least for most of you I think. I've been reorganizing things for the last few weeks since the app launched (a big task that is long overdue) and this bug snuck in. I've just uploaded a fix now so these items should no longer endlessly repeat.

Beta testers, please be on the lookout for other strangeness or site errors. The beta site has been pretty stable for the last few seasons because all the work has been on iOS but now it's going to be about as buggy as it's ever been. I'm adding lots of unit tests though so that the core logic remains more stable going forward, and everything will be easier to upgrade and change and tweak and optimize.

Guys I am also having this problem. Not on the iOS but on my laptop. This was extremally annoying:( Hope it will be resolved soon.

Could you give an example of a word that's happening too often? Then I can look at the scheduling and try to figure out what's going on.
