When do we get to know about pricing?

We're working on the billing page now, and it will have the pricing information there as well to make it easier to find.

Will there be no free version?

Chloe   May 11th, 2009 12:36a.m.

I think the free version is just going to allow you to review what you have already added, so no support for adding new lists.

If you think about it, ChinesePod also doesn't have a free version. Skritter is pretty valuable that paying $5 a month for it (assuming 2 yr plan) is a pretty sweet deal if you use it a lot.

The pricing does seem to be in line with Chinesepod.
However, in Chinesepod you pay for new content
(which is often well thought-out, informative and
entertaining). Furthermore, once my subscription is over, I can still mull over all the podcasts that I got at the time I was subscribed.

What exactly are we paying for here?

I'm not suggesting Skritter should be free, but it would be useful to have on the pricing page information such as what exactly we would be paying for.

I've just made the pricing page and it lays it all out. I'll summarize here.

What Paying Gets You

* The ability to add new words
* The company stays in business to continue working on the site
* Features yet to be made

What Not Paying Still Gets You

* The ability to continue practicing
* Access to all your data

We'll also be allowing you to cancel your subscription part way through and get part of your money back (based on how far through you are). And we'll extend your service due to downtime or inaccessibility.

Great, that sounds like something I could sign up to!

"* The company stays in business to continue working on the site"

Yes, I do realize that you guys need to make a living and, as I said

"I'm not suggesting Skritter should be free,"

Good luck!
