Following on from this thread: http://www.skritter.com/forum/topic?id=20700828 it seems that the tablet/handwriting mode is built into the new big 'magic' trackpad for desktop macs: http://store.apple.com/us/question/answers/product/MC380LL/A?mco=MTQzMzA4MzI&pqid=QFPHTDPTAPT2YTXC2FYD4DP9KHXH7UFDC
People are saying it's possible to use this device on Windows with bluetooth: http://www.labnol.org/software/apple-magic-trackpad-with-windows/14158/ But I'm guessing the handwriting mode disappears along with the other bells and whistles in the Windows driver - any body got one and can test it out for us?
Might be a good portable input device for the road.
Somebody has also asked the question here: http://store.apple.com/us/question/answers/product/MC380LL/A?mco=MTkyMTc5ODI&pqid=QCHJYPXAD2CFA79AYFYD4DP9KHXH7UFDCwith no luck as yet.
