Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Seems like there is a need

for a spam button/report button。

We only check the forum slightly less often than we would check a spam report email. I wonder if an easier solution wouldn't just be to appoint a few moderators with the power to delete spam.

Scott was also talking about adding a better CAPTCHA for non-logged-in users.

I'd be willing to moderate.

I'd also be willing to moderate - I spend an unhealthy amount of time logged in so I may as well do something useful while I'm here :)

New challenge award: shirt, cup, tablet... or moderator status!

I'd be willing to moderate too, if there's a need.

I think a few moderators from different timezones outside out of the US would definitely help cover the day and allow for faster removal.

Actually, I already implemented it. I replaced the old sum captcha with the more commonly used recaptcha. Looks like it wasn't as effective as I had hoped!

I'll add to my list to make it so we can deputize people and give them forum moderation powers. Shouldn't be hard to do.
