You can pay directly in the iOS app: Settings->Account->Manage Account

You can unsubscribe and then when your subscription expires (or a little before, in the next version of the app), the app itself will give you the advance subscription screen.

and the advance subscription within the app gives me options for paying for a year? how much is a year?

nick   August 13th, 2012 12:09p.m.

Yup. Depends on your App Store currency, but for US, it's $9.99 for one month, $39.99 for six months, $69.99 for a year, or $119.99 for two years.

thanks a lot!

Why are the prices different for the iOS and the website. I'd like to sign up for 12 months, and you quoted $69.99 for a year for the app, but it still seems to be $9.99 a month for the website, no matter how many months you sign up for (and 6 months is $60, so 6c more than paying monthly!)

Are those of us who prefer to use the website being classed as second class citizens?

The longer-term subscription prices are part of an iOS app launch sale we're running, so we haven't propagated those prices to the web site. If you want to get the sale prices outside the app, though, you can just PayPal the desired discounted subscription price to scott@skritter.com, including your Skritter username in the message, and we'll hook you up.
