T-shirt reminders

nick   January 8th, 2010 4:38p.m.

I just sent out an email to everyone who is still on track to win a T-shirt as part of the monthly challenge:
http://www.skritter.com/newsletters/09-12#challenge

If you didn't get that email but feel you should have, let me know and I'll look into it. There have been a few bugs with the progress tracking not being entirely accurate during this last month.

mcfarljw   January 8th, 2010 4:56p.m.

I just reviewed my progress from the 15th and they all seem to be over 10 minutes. A few days were close, but I always did at least 12 minutes on my busy days (because I know occasionally there is 1 - 2 minute discrepancy in the time when I stop).

You should have gotten one. Looks like I just left your name off one list and not the other. Sent it now, sorry about that!

you know what blows, i was on track for it till monday/tuesday this week, then i broke my ankle in 3 places and dislocated it, was rushed to hospital in Xi'an before being transferred to Hong Kong for surgery 2 days ago, i was well on track, but maybe i'll have to try again next month or the month after, unfortunately can't guarentee getting online everyday with the recovery. but the challenges definitly inspired me to practise more. thanks.

haha i would say what blows is that you broke your ankle in 3 places and had to fly around, spend money, time recovering, etc... NOT that you were on track when it happened...

but different people different priorities...

get well soon :) and skritter lots!

Nicki   January 9th, 2010 4:01a.m.

Ouch! How did you break your ankle? Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

alexblackwelder   January 9th, 2010 5:48a.m.

Wow Aldoman, tough luck! I hope you get well soon. 祝你早日康复!

Byzanti   January 9th, 2010 6:22a.m.

Youch. Why'd you have to be transferred to Hong Kong for breaking your ankle?

Admittedly I wouldn't like to be treated in Xi'an hospital for that (they are hell on earth), but you'd think with a population of 8 million or somesuch, they'd be able to deal with broken ankles :o.

Best of luck with your recovery!

Aaron Dolman   January 10th, 2010 12:35a.m.

i broke my ankle in 3 places, neeed surgery, i told th insurance company i didnt want it in Xi'an so they said they'd send me to HK to have it. I now have a plate and 10 screws in it, but should be goo again soon enough.

I was doing pull ups and my pull bar broke from the wall and i dropped along with the bar.

anyway, i have found a computer in he hospital i seem to be able to get on so if all is well i can at least get the minimum anount of time on skritter as long as the doctor doesn't start complaining.

thanks for your well wishes.

happy skrittering.
