I was wondering if I am the only one...

Before I had German translations switched on, after the update, some words have changed to English (gùkè, Client), and now I see that for example the translated sample sentence is in Spanish?

I am using "spanish" translations and the same happened to me this morning when I updated the iOS app on my iPad.

One of the first words offered for TONE practice was 矿泉水 (in english "mineral water", in spanish "agua mineral"), and...
The first character 矿 was shown with the correct spanish translation ("agua mineral"), but the second and third showed up in english ("mineral water")!!!

But it only happened that time, in that word, it has not happened to any other word when practicing TONES and in fact, just a few seconds before I wrote this, trying to make a last minute check, I have been offered 矿泉水 to WRITE the characters (not for TONE practice) and the correct translation "agua mineral" has been shown for each of them. Very strange...

By the way, zhangyanglu, what do you mean with "the translated sample sentence is in Spanish"? All of the sample sentences I have read so far today were in ENGLISH, and I was assuming that this cool new feature was only offered in that language. It would be great (for me) if they were in spanish (or if I could change the translation to share it for the rest of spanish speakers that use this wonderful app)

Well actually for me some example sentences appeared in Spanish... others in German, so at least I can confirm they are NOT only in English ;-)
Whether this is wanted or implemented properly, I don't know, but the texts are there.

We just figured that you guys would want to learn a few more other languages while you're at it (just kidding)! I'll email the Devs to make sure they're aware of this issue and that it's taken care of ASAP.

I had the same, some vocab came up in English, although there is definitely a German definition. I think, there may be a sync problem, yesterday, when I downloaded the app on my iPhone, it synchronized around 49.000 items, today on my iPad it synchronized 60.800 items.

I studied for a short while on the iPad, all definitions were OK. Now, I have cleared my data on the iPhone and am downloading it again. It is downloading now also 60.800 items.
Might be you try it also with a new download.
Fernando, there are sentences in Spanish, but not so many. If I understand correctly, priority is always given to those sentences with the highest number of users, who selected this sentence - and obvious, these are English sentences, because the majority of Skritter users are native English speakers, next ones German, but less Spanish. So I think it would be a good idea, if the Skritter guys could make a change in the next release and give the sentences, which are in the language of the user, the highest priority.
The alternative for you would be to select some English sentences and translate them by yourself into Spanish. I made myself a list with almost 700 sentences, translated them all to German and then selected them (all to be done on the Web-app). Now next step will be, that I go through all the sentences with a Chinese teacher - she is strong in grammar - and look that I get rid of the errors.

Thanks for the idea, Roland. 99% of the time I use the app on my iPad, and I could not find how to change the sentence there, but I will do it on the web app as you propose (until our fantastic team at skritter make the adequate change to offer the user's language translation by default, if it is available.
