Clear Quick Added

gua nö   March 25th, 2014 11:55a.m.

Hi!

I recently removed a lot of words from my misc list, that I had quick added but not started to study yet. But now Skritter behaves as if these words are still added (with the orange checkmark button and saying they are already added if I try to add some again). Does anyone know a way to solve this?

Just readd those words to your study and they will remember your review history. Same problem occurred with me.

Sorry, I think I may have got your issue confused with one I had. Ignore my above post :)

@xiaokaka: Are you sure the words don't exist in any other lists, and are you using the iOS app or the web version? Are the items still found in your Miscellaneous list after attempting to delete them?

I'm mostly using the iOS app, but study on the web occasionally.

Yes, I'm sure the words were successfully deleted; they don't show up in the Miscellaneous list and it says 100% studied.

I thought it was only the words in the Miscellaneous list or otherwise quick added that are shown as "added" (marked in orange on the web version). A lot of the words definitely exists in other lists, but none except the ones that were in the misc list show up as "added".

Maybe I can re-scan the misc list, will try that now.

I added it from the first section and it was re-scanned but the problem remains.

No idea? No one else that has encountered this before?

Once you have quick-added it, there's no good way to reset the fact that it's been quick-added (it was a performance tradeoff we made). But, if you click the orange checkmark, you can still quick-add it again.

Ok, thanks for the answer! Yeah, I know they can be added, It's just a little bit annoying to click "add anyway" every time, and that I really don't know if I've already added them.
