I'm studying off of a book that's not 'built in' - so I've been adding words to the queue. I also added the HSK list to be pulled from, but it's become overwhelming and I'm not really getting anything from it.

So, I guess my question is, is there a method to remove specific words from your list? "Delete All" says there are other options, but I don't see one. And, if there's not some list interface, perhaps one should be added?

I had this problem too - my solution was to nuke everything and start again. I might suggest deleting your queue and making a custom list from your textbook (that way you would keep the HSK words you have already added/learned but would not add more mystery words).

If you don't want the old HSK stuff, you can go to the HSK list, click the "Delete" tab, and delete some of the sections from that. It will currently get rid of stuff that you might have already added from the Queue, though.

If you don't want the Queue stuff, we currently don't have a way of deleting that en masse. You can try to quickly skip any words you don't really want to learn, which will push their interval into the future where they'll be more manageable.

You could try pausing the HSK list and trying to catch up; it probably wouldn't take that long, and you'll eventually need to learn all those words.

Overall, you're right that it would be great to be able to delete all words from a list unless they were also added from another list, and to have the same thing for the Queue. We've talked about it and we think we can do it, but it's complicated and we won't be able to set that up for months.

Right, thanks for the advice. I got it sorted out pretty well after I found the management options.

I think a better list editor would be a tremendous help, but obviously there's quite a bit on your plate already, and you may as well not make the perfect the enemy of the good.
