Special Offer?

Bargain Hunter   September 24th, 2011 1:40p.m.

Hi,

I was wondering how the current 4.99 per month til 01/2012 offer measures up to past promotions. How often is this kind of deal offered?

TIA

Byzanti   September 24th, 2011 1:53p.m.

That's a good deal. Skritter is definitely worth the money.

Dennis   September 24th, 2011 2:21p.m.

Would someone explain what this is about? For new users perhaps?

scott   September 24th, 2011 4:32p.m.

We're having a back to school sale for new users, where if you sign up on or before September 30th, payments made through the end of year are $4.95 instead of $9.95.

We don't have any particular plans to have another sale in the near future, and we don't have any sort of regular sale schedule (yet) so if you want in I recommend going for it! I'm obviously biased though :)

Any link so I can send it to my brother?

He wants to learn japanese

You don't need a special link for a new user to see the sale. But if you're going to refer someone, do it in style:

Thanks , more than a few refferal emails sent

Ya, go for it, 4.99 is the bestest monthly deal I've ever seen on Skritter. I am on their now retired 2 year plan, and 4.99 beats my montly rate.

ps: kinda wish those yearly plan could be back :)

cutegigi   September 28th, 2011 10:55p.m.

no love for the existing users ?? :(

scott   September 29th, 2011 10:31a.m.

@malaili2: Yes! It's available based on when you sign up, not when your trial ends. Hurry though!

@cutegigi: We already have your money! :) Naw, you guys get all our love and attention. We're just trying a rather blunt tactic to give students with limited means a break and encourage them to try Skritter.

What happened to that promotion by the way? Is it over?

I've been stalking this site for a while, slowly getting tempted to sign up given that we start kanji in two weeks, now the promotion is gone. What a shame.

10 bucks a month is a lot for a student on a tight budget.

WanLi   October 7th, 2011 4:19p.m.

Damn i have missed this offer! ;-(

mcfarljw   October 7th, 2011 11:41p.m.

@., 10 bucks a month is a lot of money for a student, but I would argue any day of the week that (with daily use) it's more beneficial than any single language class I had ever taken in college. Not that language classes are bad, but Skritter is most certainly more efficient with cramming the most into my time.
