Adding words to finished lists

Catherine :)   October 14th, 2011 12:06p.m.

Hello :)
Sorry for repeating an often-asked question, but I couldn't find a complete answer in previous forum topics :(
If I add new words to a previously completed list, are they added to what I'm studying or not?

xx

Yes, they are; the list is treated like it's not finished if you add new words to it.

In my experience, if you add words to a list that is marked as finished, then the list is set to the "Review" study mode. You can add the new words and then you will need to "Change study settings" of the list to "Add".

Looking at my lists to confirm this, the "Change Study Settings" only appears on a "big list" (A list containing other lists), not the "small list", so it might only affect big lists.

In my experience Skritter just ignores the new word if it was added to a completed list. But Scott says it's bug

so it may work the way the GrandPoohBlah says.

It used to work smoothly, but now it seems that it takes a day or two for an updated list to return to "adding" mode.
