I know you guys are now developing iOS app and don't have time for improving basic Skritter, but I wanna share some thought for the future.
I'm a bit irritated as the "add word frequency" setting doesn't really get along with my anti-rutinal habits. When find myself having time and willingness for hours of skrittering there's never enough new words. So I go to setting and make adding fast. But it needs time to adjust.
Few days later, after I hadn't much time for learning and also now I have only a bit I cannot escape form the pile of growing vocabulary - instead of repeating what I added last time and still haven't mastered I get more and more new words, which don't even come back, cause apparently Scritter thinks it's still not enough for my appetite. But I planed to learn only for a half an hour - time's running away and I still haven't get to repeating new ones. Annoyed I get back to settings and change frequency to slow. Thus I came full circle.
Couldn't it be (in some point in future), that you can make your frequency rate depend on how much time you spend, how fast you learn and how big your repetitions' hunch is?
There could be some basic speed, but it could vary depending on the situation. I don't how the other, but I would find it unimaginably practical.
Just wondering... :)
