Export Words format?

What format does Skritter use when exporting characters? It seems to be UTF-8, but I'm not sure. The purpose of the Export is to Import into MySQL.

Thanks

Dennis

Yes, UTF-8.

Thanks Nick. I've been going nuts with MySQL. At least I have a base now.

MySQL text encoding can be extremely frustrating, it's true. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

I've finally gotten the transfer from Skritter to MySQL to work, although I can't say I understand what's going on. It IS very frustrating as can be seen by looking at the answers you find in Google on how to do it. I managed it once before, but totally forgot how I did it last time.
