queue bug

Hobbes828   December 5th, 2009 7:35a.m.

not a major one, but when i add items to the queue it somehow thinks I am adding way more... like I added 4 words just now and above that it then said "20 items in the queue" when just before that it said "4 items in the queue" and even then I think there were only 2.

An item is a tone or a rune, so if you add one character, you're actually adding two items. Although, turns out it's also adding counting the items that are added for each component character, though it shouldn't count those since they're not added as something that will come up for study, just added so their progress can be tracked. I've fixed that and will upload later today.

The queue in the backend is built on the items, but words make more sense. I've got some plans for a general overhaul the queue, among other things, so that bit of confusion will be gotten rid of later on.

cool. that makes sense, but yeah I think counting by words in the queue seems seems the most reasonable...

unrelated bug (feature?), when i go to the more info about the word on the new practice page where the dictionaries are listed, though it says nciku, if i click the link it will go to skritter/something+theword. Since i wanted to go to nciku, i had to switch it to something else and then switch it back for it to actually go there. if that makes sense.

peace.

Hmm, having trouble reproducing that... which browser are you using on what OS?

Hobbes828   December 8th, 2009 7:21a.m.

it is the same bug as http://www.skritter.com/forum/topic?id=17756836&comments=1

which apparently got fixed very recently.

Thanks.
