Skritter Support Group

马洲屹   July 28th, 2014 10:16p.m.

Hi guys,

From reading this forum in the past hour, I have found out that Skritter has a group function - which is awesome! So seeing as though no-one has made one yet I thought I would make one.

I would love for any interested Skritters to join the group. I think this would be a perfect mechanism to give me a bit of a jolt in my studies. My Skritter-ing over the past week and a bit has been a bit lacklustre (I have been averaging 10-15mins per day).

The URL is http://beta.skritter.com/group/join?groupname=Skritter%20Support%20Group&code=179242

Please note that I have not added any lists to this group and I will not be adding any lists to the group. I am just using it so we can get motivated to push through the slog of large reviews.

Any questions please ask!

Cheers,
Joe

For those who aren't on the beta, the URL is skritter.com/group/join?groupname=Skritter%20Support%20Group&code=179242

I can say that both URLs produce errors for me.

If the above URLs don't work, try replacing “Skritter%20Support%20Group&code=179242”
with “Skritter Support Group&code=179242”

I just joined the group. My retention rate is shocking compared to you guys :-/

Must try harder :)

It must be something to do with being called Ste(--)en - mine is shocking too! Though my progress page says my retention this week is 83.8%, so why it says 67.3% on the group table, I'm not sure.

The retention rate is a bit of a dodgy comparison anyway - very dependent on the difficulty of the material being learnt at the time (though as a relative beginner, that doesn't give me an excuse!), how stringently you grade yourself and whether you tend to study things before, when or after they are due.

Seeing how other people are doing could still provide extra motivation though, so I couldn't resist joining the group :-)
