Why can't I complete 女 before I write 攵?

I noticed the same problem today too. It is incorrect.

Does Skeitrer give stroke order? How do I find out basic stroke rules, eg order and direction? Thanks!

Hold down the show button on the site to get the stroke animation.

I never use that though. I just charge ahead and draw however I think it ought to be and Skritter tells me when I do something wrong (it flashes the correct stroke if you draw the wrong one first). It's faster that way, correcting yourself as you go along, rather than taking extra time to learn it separately.

When a stroke order is identified wrong and reported to Skritter team, what happens in the iOS app?

a) You guys bake it into the application and the user has to download a new version of the Skritter app?

b) You correct some downloadable database that is fixed after you make a correction and sync?

c) Other...

Just wondering how that works.

George fixes the stroke order and uploads it to the web version. The next day, the correction gets compiled into a report of corrections made. When your iOS app does its normal syncing thing, it starts to download all the corrections from those reports. So you should automatically get those corrections after one or two days. We've fixed a bug in the released version that was causing those corrections to get derailed until app restart.

Are you gonna correct 母 ? That's been around for a few weeks now?

It's fixed, but you might not have gotten the update in the iOS app because of the bug I mentioned above. Have you restarted the app and checked its sync status?

According to my sync status, everything is fine, but the app still has the wrong stroke order for 数...

You have to completely kill the app and re-launch it.
(Double click home button, tap the app icon and hold, then tap the cross on the corner of the app icon)

@nick doesn't seem to work still have problem with 母 and 黨.

In the current version there's a bug with the system for fetching updates for vocabs, decomps and strokes. It's fixed for the next version, along with a bunch of other fixes.

I could have swear I have seen some on the currections done and then changed back. Really wierd.

No need to delete the whole app. You could clear your data and download your account anew instead, that would get you the latest data.

@穆安: What happens when you go to the account data status screen (at the bottom of the account settings screen)? It should tell you how far it's gotten in terms of updates.

Right now we're more focused on wrapping up things for the Japanese iOS app launch; the Chinese iOS update I'd like to get pushed out soon though.

Yeah that's the thing. The status overview says all syncs are done no mismatch nothing pending... Everything should be fine, but somehow I still have this strange stroke order...

It's nothing crucial, just wondering why it seems to update for everybody else but not here :/

Can you confirm that the stroke order you're seeing on 数 is still the original problem with the horizontal stroke of 女 coming last in the whole character? Or is it some other stroke order problem which you are seeing?

@穆安: The table about matching is not for stroke order, that's for all data that's unique to your account (progress on items, custom definitions, etc). The top area of that screen should show what the latest date is for "vocab updates" (which include common definitions, decomps and stroke orders). What's the date that shows up there?

Yes, I am still talking about the 数 stroke order.

I just wrote the word 数字 and like described before, one has to finish the horizontal stroke of 女 last. The stroke help (double tap) suggests the same...
