IOS App: Stroke order 数

穆安   June 20th, 2012 1:55a.m.

Hi,

I just came across the character 数 and couldn't get the writing done. I then found out that the reason was a messed up stroke oder.

With stroke order set to strict, the app required to write the horizontal stroke of 女 last... On the website however, the order is correct...

Regards,
Andy

The horizontal stroke of 女 is last according to MDBG, Pleco, eStroke and the Matthews & Matthews book. If the web Skritter does it differently, maybe that's wrong?

Edit: Oh, I misunderstood what you meant (explained here: http://www.skritter.com/forum/topic?id=180416531 (thanks jww1066))

This is wrong, but I have seen other posts about it, so I assume skritter staff are aware of it. Not sure why it takes so long to correct.

must have taken the (correct) japanese stroke order for 女 by accident?

Yeah, they're aware of it. See this previous discussion: http://www.skritter.com/forum/topic?id=180416531

We've just fixed it, but it may take a couple days to propagate to the app.
