IOS App: Stroke order 母

lechuan   June 21st, 2012 12:58p.m.

When I write 母, it recognizes the correct stroke order, but when I "tap then trace", tapping reveals the last 3 strokes from bottom to top (which I believe should be top to bottom).

I just noticed it on this page here: http://www.skritter.com/stroke-research

I guess there's no majority consensus?

Hi lechuan, which characters specifically are having this problem? It should default to the dot, horizontal, dot order but allow you to write them in any order. If you can give me the characters, I can police them into shape!

Hi George. Skritter was recognizing my strokes fine, but I just thought it was funny that it suggested dot, horizontal, dot from bottom-to-top instead of top-to-bottom. Later I read the stroke research and realized that some characters have more than one correct stroke order. So, no problem know, but thanks for looking into it.
