Randonly creating new lists

jarmstrong   June 30th, 2012 6:29p.m.

Hi,

How does Skritter choose which list to add a word to when you click the blue "add to my studies" button on a word?
Usually I find it does the right thing, and adds it to the list I normally use.
However, sometimes it decides to create a new list (called "Miscellaneous") or create a new section in one of my existing lists. I then have to move the word into the right list and delete the spurious new one. I can't figure out why it is doing this. I just want it to default to using whatever list I added a word to last time.

Thanks,
Justin

By default it should always send to this "Miscellaneous" list, unless you specify otherwise. When the window shows up and says the word has been added, click "Wait!" and choose to put the word in the list you want it to go to. Then the site will remember your preference and put words in that list by default until you change your mind again.
