Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

how long before I will have items to review? (android)

Hi,

Brand new user, tried searching the forums a bit, but no luck.

I created an account, downloaded the Android version and then added 'skritter chinese 101'.

The staus is currently 'adding' and it says 'you have 0 items to review'. When i select 'study' i just get a blank page.

So the question is how long should it take to have characters available? Its been about 20 minutes now.

Hey brkgdog, we're still working on how to handle new users on the Android app. There are two ways to get items into your studies.

1.) Click the plus "+" button to open the add items dialog, type in a number of items to add and then click add. It should give you some notification when the items have been added. If it's the first time you've added you might have to completely close the app and reopen it.

2.) Use the website to add items and then click the refresh/sync button from inside the app to get the items you added.
