Next month's challenge reward...

muir   December 31st, 2009 2:41p.m.

should be a Skritter plush doll! I would probably practice 3 hours a day, 30 days straight to get my hands on one of those.

haha i can see it now, skritbay, trading hours of our study lives to bid on various auctions.

George may correct me when he gets back, but if I remember truly, we could get a batch of very cheap plushies made--only we would have to order a jillion and a half of them. Might make sense if we had an awesome rewards and achievements system built in, but probably not yet for a one-time challenge.

We have something really cool lined up as next month's challenge reward, though.

That would be so awesome!! :D Maybe for when you achieve some sort of milestone, like having a retention rate of over 85% for more than 3 months, or reaching your first 2,000 characters learned. :)

Speaking of the challenges, I have a question:
Skritter hasn't been recording my time some days; one day over break, I did 20+ min, but when I went back to show someone the site, it had nothing registered. It was like I'd never been there. When I logged on today it doesn't look like it recorded my 10 min from yesterday (I've been trying to do more than that, but some days that's all I've been able to do). Help? I want my t-shirt! :D

We'll take your word for it for that day. Note that it doesn't track time when you're on scratchpad mode. Not sure why else it would miss the time, unless it was a timezone/start of day at 4am thing.

I have no idea, and it did it twice!! The first time I caught it and went back and did 20 min (for a 2nd time that day). The 31st I did my time, then when I went to do it the 1st, I saw it didn't register! :( If it does it again, I'll let you know.

Thanks, Nick!
