Seeking Japanese Skritter translators

scott   August 2nd, 2012 2:20a.m.

Hey guys, we're putting together the Japanese version of the app, and like the Chinese app before it, we need translators for as many languages as we can get. If you're studying Japanese and comfortable with one or more of our source languages (or even if you're studying Chinese and feel like lending a hangd!) check out the list I put together here:

http://www.skritter.com/vocab/list?list=197992854

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Right now we have pretty good but not complete coverage for:

Russian
German
French
Both Chineses

And we have *no* coverage for

Italian
Spanish
Polish
Swedish
Japanese

The number of words to have translations for is much smaller than Chinese because there are fewer textbooks to cover.

I could help with the Spanish translations. What do you need exactly?

scott   August 2nd, 2012 3:33p.m.

The words in the list I linked to are what need to be translated. Have your source language set to Spanish, then edit the definitions as you would normally and check the 'share as correction' box. Add Spanish definitions if we don't have them, or submit tweaks to existing ones.

Thanks for your help!

When I click on the list link, it just takes me here:

You'd need to be set to Japanese (source language in upper left) to see that list.

Spanish -> Japanese done.

Thanks Jose!
