Friends list?

Is it possible to set up something to keep up with how friends are doing or to leave little messages to help motivate each other? Just talking with a few friends of mine about how cool that would be to compete with each other or just to see how each other is doing.

After being on a course where 'friends' were always interested to in seeing how the other was doing and compete to degrees that invited potentional incarceration, one of the BEST things about Skritter is its NON-competitive, mutually supportive atmosphere.

We do have eventual plans to add Skritter friends modify the existing teacher/student group system to allow groups of friends. Add some more social stuff to the site, make it easier for friends to motivate each other.

Anything we do like that will be opt-in, though, so you wouldn't have to share your progress with others.

Yo Keola, I just hit 1000 characters, does that motivate you?!
