Modify Skritter for iPhone 5?

zhangyanglu   October 7th, 2012 8:54a.m.

Hi guys,

I was wondering if you will soon release an update for the iphone app so that it makes full use of the larger display on iPhone 5? :)

nick   October 7th, 2012 12:57p.m.

Yes; we'll release that along with the iPad layout and, probably, advanced study (single list, subset of parts/styles, stars). I sent out the first beta for it last night. iPad is almost done; iPhone 5 needs some more work; advanced study is less than half done.

Mostly unrelated, but will we be able to ban by parts on iPhone in the next couple releases?

nick   October 8th, 2012 2:38p.m.

Probably not, but if there's a lot of demand, we could try to work it in.

So looking forward to this update! Keep up the good work nick! :)

On a similar topic: will the iPad version of skritter work on the iPad minis?

nick   October 17th, 2012 1:14p.m.

We'd have to wait and see what the screen resolution will be, if such a thing will exist.

nomadwolf   October 18th, 2012 1:14a.m.

What about iOS7? :D

The resolution of the new iPad Mini will be the same as that of the iPad 2, so no extra work for the Skritter team.
