Updating definitions for both traditional and simplified

eiderdown   September 20th, 2014 4:29a.m.

When I add new words to my list I often add custom defintions. When I do this both the traditional and simplified versions of the word (I'm studying both) appear to have my custom definition when I look on the skritter website. However afterwards when I sync my phone and download my new words the traditional version still uses the default definition. It's quite time consuming to have to modify tute defintioms again on my phone. Is there anyway I can get my phone sync my defintions to both forms of characters?

Hmm, that sounds like a bug. Is this in the iOS app or the Android app? Does it use the default definition everywhere (including the word info screen), or just when prompting you to review the words?

I'm using the iOS app. The default definition appears everywhere for the traditional version entry, both the word info screen and all the prompts.

I should also note that I add the definition on the website version first. I fill in the definition for either the simplified or traditional version and it automatically changes the other version from the default. After I download to my phone. Only then does it seem that the traditional version reverts to the default (on my phone)

I've opened up a bug for this one. I'll see what I can do during the next app update, although I may not be able to get to it.
