Any chance of Duo-Lingo-type sentence function?

Even though I have been studying Mandarin for many years, I find that there are still a few "go to" sentence structures that I overly use. They are basic sentences that I often repeat exactly as they are, or simply substitute in different nouns/verbs for different situations.

I often come across sentences that are perfect for use in my job or in daily life. I also come across sentences that perfectly use one or more grammar points that I have had trouble with for years. Unfortunately, I have no method (or am just too lazy) to learn them word for word. After using Skritter for so long, I don't want to study any way other than spaced repetition.

Have you guys considered making a feature where an English sentence is shown and the entire sentence must be written in Chinese? It could use the same grading system.

Thanks.

I think this is already possible (think the option needs turning on somewhere). But there is not many lists with sentences, so you would probably need to create lists yourself (I haven't done this because I'm also lazy). Or you could wait 20 years for duolingo to sort out their Chinese course.

Good point. I wish they were more forthcoming on the reasons behind the delay.

This is already an option on Skritter and it's been really great. I've made a list here http://www.skritter.com/vocab/list?list=1319972614 but it's a bit basic. Note that by default you don't study the writing and tone for a sentence for the sake of speed, but you can change that setting if you click "study settings" on the list page, and untick "limit sentence parts".

Unfortunately I had to stop studying sentences because it's a lot more time consuming than words, but if I was more advanced (as I believe 贺知宝 is) I would definitely use it a lot more.
