Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Search a character.

Is there a way to look up an individual character?

I have recently been adding words with characters I already know, does anyone else do this and does it help? It seems to reinforce the characters if I have them in multiple words.

You can look up a new character in the My Words search. Alternatively, you can drop it in the scratchpad like this:
