Tone colour in app versions

Please put the tone colour into the app version, like the web version.

From all the facets of learning chinese (char recoqnition, tone, pinyin, translation) the tone is for me the hardest to learn. Thanks to tone colouring it is much much easier. In fact it is remarkable that when I forget some facets, the tone colour is the last. Often it is the only thing I remember seeing a forgotten character.

The app version is confusing by showing gradings instead of tone colour. I tend to avoid the app for this reason, although I like it very much for the other study facets.

We're not planning on adding tone coloring to the app. The design is already coloring everything that would be used for tone colors based on score colors right now, and the tone colors were always a source of much hassle and maintenance problems on the web version, so we decided that we would skip them.

Too bad

I dearly miss it, and travel with my Wacom just for the purpose of being able to use the tone colors once in a while. I find it very helpful and if I could have one wish for porting a feature from the web version to the iPhone this would be it.
