Review Patterns

Why dont you just study a certain list again if you need these items for a test?

For the rest I wouldnt care too much and TRUST in the system :)

Insane and irresponsible are extreme words. I think it's difficult, I'm sure there are plenty of people who mark a new review as correct straight away, for what ever reason (they know it or its just obvious). Then those people have to be reviewing it more times. I do know what you mean though, sometimes you can have it just in your short term memory (perhaps you are adding containing characters and have just reviewed the word, therefore making it is easy to recognise the individual characters.) In these cases, even if I know it I mark it incorrectly and only mark it correct if I get it right the next time it appears.

Yes, I have the same problem. Sometimes new words come up several times, but the oldest ones seem to have gone for ever - I expect your 'four months' is right. I haven't investigated the system becasue I wanted to trust it, but I try to do more than are due in the hope of getting back to the older words before I forget them. Does it mean that however much I review, I will still have to wait four months for some of them?

Nothing should ever get scheduled four months in the future the first time you see it, even if you mark it a four. Which word was this, malaili?

Approximate initial interval information is given here: http://www.skritter.com/faq#scheduling

According to the table you just copy/pasted, your next review is due in 4 days.

Thanks, Nick, I've looked at the summary of the system and I'm relieved.
