Quick add to section

Schnabelhund   March 10th, 2013 10:47p.m.

Hi!

I'd like to quick add words to the newest section of my misc list by default instead of "«month» «year»". Every time I quick add, I have to go "Wait! Change list etc."; it was only necessary to do this once a month in the past.

I'd also like to see the section the word was added to, not only the list, e.g.
"Word added to «list», «section» [Wait!]"
instead of
"Word added to «list» [Wait!]"

What do you guys think?

I can't reproduce the issue, and I checked the code, it should continue to work the way you describe where it only asks you once a month when it would automatically add a new month section.

I've added the section name to the link text, though.

I tried quick add on beta. When I add a word, tell it to add it to an existing section, then quick add another single word again, it goes to 'June 2013'. For what it's worth, I'm using Chrome on Ubuntu 13.04.

For me it's the same. When I add a sentence to a list, I always have to go and change the list. I did it now a few hundred times, it never keeps the latest list as default for adding. Both beta and normal.

Any luck, Scott?

I took a look at the list you pointed to and was able to figure out what was going on this time. It was based before on when the section was created, rather than when it was last changed. If the last section of a list was last edited within the current month, it will add to that section rather than auto-creating a new one. That should behave the right way now. The change is up on beta now.

Thanks for your patience!

Good news, thanks Scott :)
Will it be up on tomorrow's stable release?
