Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Skritter.cn - Nginx Down, Apache Up?

Looks like Apache got started again, and Skritter.cn is no longer mirroring Skritter.com... http://www.skritter.com/forum/topic?id=27469924

Thanks for the heads up, and sorry for the downtime. I've now bloodied my keyboard with the life juices of four Apache processes.

When Scott returns, perhaps he can figure out just what's with this server and why it wants to create Apaches!

just remove apache from the system :p

maci   March 30th, 2010 6:21p.m.

oh, or drop nginx and use apache with mod_proxy

Apache has been removed. I will be well and truly surprised if it resurrects itself again!
