"save me - button" ...

learninglife   April 5th, 2013 5:10a.m.

in order to spread my words and give me time to review single lists which I need to study for the present use and exams I used the "save me" button in "my words" twice. could I go on using this button if my reviews get over 1000 or will this seriously damage the srs-feature?

Yes, if you keep delaying things and can freely push back until a later time then it's defeating the point of using SRS. Why don't you just focus on your single lists and just let your other reviews pile up?

learninglife   April 5th, 2013 7:47a.m.

its a question of time. i am already spending two hours a day.

I'd say don't worry about the number of reviews and don't use the save me feature. You can catch up on reviews sometime when you have more time. I remember once I had over 4000 reviews, but cleared it in about a week and got my daily reviews under control in about a month.

learninglife   April 6th, 2013 8:21a.m.

what I have done to get the high number of reviews is this: I went to study a single list that had not been added yet.

thanks to both of you and I think both of your suggestions might work. so I will keep adding quickly by study single (not yet added lists) and then do the job and keep buggering on for weeks......... month...

thanks!

If you're studying for two hours a day, I don't think you will need to worry that much. You'll get through outstanding reviews very quickly. I doubt there's any course of study that introduces too many words to be memorized in two hours of SRS a day.

:) thanks for the optimistic outlook. but I have to be honest. i have passed my brains prime time plus there are sometimes 30 plus new words a day ...

learninglife   April 7th, 2013 12:18p.m.

today it wasnt too bad. in 2 hours I got from 1100 reviews down to 600.

and for the first time I have tried the scratchpad. wil see if I will constantly use it.
