Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

The Word Finder at http://huygens.functor.nl/skritter/ seems to be down. Anybody know what happened? Did it move? Is there a new location?

I've sent an email to its mastermind.

The correct URL is (and to the best of my knowledge, always has been)

http://huygens.functor.nl/skritter/wordlist/

Enjoy!

I've also added a redirect from /skritter to /skritter/wordlist/ now.

Thanks!

By the way, when I tried to post a message saying just "Thanks!" I got the following message:

"Potential duplicate post -- this message is the same as an existing message. If you haven't possibly just posted this, consider saying something new."

This happened twice.

Yup, you got caught in the "say something new or don't say anything at all" filter that doubles as a duplicate-post detector. It's sort of like xkcd's ROBOT9000:
http://blog.xkcd.com/2008/01/14/robot9000-and-xkcd-signal-attacking-noise-in-chat/

Except in a forum it almost never fires, because people usually post longer messages with little chance of collision.

I thought it was cute, anyway.
