I've used Skritter for a while, but I recently switched from just studying traditional characters to studying both traditional and simplified (using the iOS app on iPad). I'm finding it pretty inconvenient to have to specifically look for the tiny "simp" or "trad" text (which is of course not always there, and is not always in the same position when it is there, since it moves if the character is new) to know what form to write a character in. When I have a bunch of either to write in a row, I often get in the habit of writing that type, stop looking, and then when one of the other type comes up start to write the character in the wrong form.
It would be very helpful to me if these indicators were more visually prominent (whether by default or by opt-in). The easiest way of doing this, I think, would be to have a big 简 or 繁 somewhere to prompt the user to write simplified or traditional. I don't care if it looks elegant, I care if I can notice it without having to specifically look for it, because that would make Skritter more usable for me.
