Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

taking a vacation

My Skritter account will be valid and paid for until July, 2014. If I use the "take a vacation" option, will that extent the expiration date of my skritter account?

Yep! When you come back from the vacation you'll have exactly the same amount of remaining subscription time as before you left. (You can also come back early if needed).

okay, I've just gone ahead and clicked on this option. So, can I continue to use skritter to do reviews on my PC and on my ipad?

If you start reviewing again it will end the vacation period, because then you're not on vacation...
