Studying Lists Android

SomewhatLikely   October 13th, 2014 11:27a.m.

So I just found Skritter for Android after getting lazy using the iOS platform around a year ago. What a great find.

I am working with an expired subscription, so that could be the problem, but I was unable to study a specific list using the Android platform. I am able to do this online even though my subscription is expired, but I am only able to review my entire queue using the Android app. Is the option of studying a single list available using the Android platform?

Thanks for the help.

Glad to hear you stumbled upon the Android version. Right now you'll be unable to study individual lists, but this feature is actually what I'm finishing up right now. So keep a look out for an update in the next day or two.

Josh, I downloaded the latest Android version off of the Play Store for my son today (Oct 14). I did not see the functionality to study individual list. Would you mind following up on this thread when this new feature becomes available? Thank you so much!

Hey crystalkaza, I haven't pushed out the update with list management yet, though it's being actively worked on. I ran into a few issues that set me back, but hopefully we can complete our internal testing to day and get it out you everyone.

I'll post in this forum thread and also make a note about it in the beta community once that happens:\

I just released an update (0.66.2307) that enables filtering study by lists. So now if you'd like to hammer down on a specific list you can.

Hi Josh, after setting the filter by selecting three lists, I wasn't sure how to start to Study, so I selected Study. At this point, the app says No items to study. For some reasons, I am not able to get any items to show up. I wonder if it's because the three lists that I selected all have the status "Finished". How do I make them not finished and study again? Thank you so much!!

Even if the lists are marked as finished you should still be able to study and filter them. I noticed on your account you only have two lists marked as finished. Can you verify the account you're trying to filter and the lists you've selected? I'll load that account and figure out the problem from there. Sorry about that!

Hi Josh, actually, my son is the one using the app. I am only managing word lists for our school. I just checked and he has the latest version installed on his Asus MemoPad. I did clear data and restarted Skritter. I am no longer seeing the issue with 0 items. If we encounter the problems again, I will provide you with all the info. Thank you so much for the quick response!

Was wondering if there have been any updates on studying specific lists on the Android :)

Yes, from the filters screen inside the app you can now add specific lists.
