Skritter on Crhomebook

Hi, would Skritter work on Chromebook? What's the recommended way to use Skritter on Chromebook, just go straight to the website?

Yes, the Skritter website should work very well on a Chromebook since it's using the Chrome browser.

In the future we might turn the html5 into a native app for Chromebooks for offline studying, but for now the website is definitely your best bet.

Hi Josh, it seems that the best device for writing would be a trackpad, but it's pretty pricey (almost half the price of the chromebook). What would be the next thing you would recommend and not break the very tiny pocket we have from a Title 1 public school. :)

I'm just about to head out the door, but I'd be more than happy to help give you some recommendations based on your needs and more importantly budget. Let's connect up via e-mail to get things started. Just FYI, I likely won't get back to you until sometime on Monday. You can e-mail me directly here:

There are lots of devices for a budget that work well. In the e-mail you can include a little bit of information about what else you'd want to use them for other than Skritter that way we can choose a few that best fit your needs and maximize usability.

If other users have thoughts on low cost devices that run Skritter well maybe they will chime in.
