Forum Interfering with my learning

jcardenio   December 9th, 2010 10:19a.m.

So I think my biggest problem with learning right now is that I'll have 20 mins or so to skritter. I'll log on, then waste my time reading the forums. Too much interesting stuff, it's a damn nuisance!

Haha, I need a feature where you have to earn time on the forums by studying....

+1 on that idea. I'm a forum addict myself.

YouJing   December 9th, 2010 10:38a.m.

Haha, that would be awesome.

+1 as well. I have learned a lot of weird language stuff on this forum.

That idea also gave me a good laugh.

One of my favorites was the one where people came up with the craziest things they'd learned in Chinese:

Thanks to them I now know how to say "wombat", "puffer fish" and "middle finger" in Chinese.

Hehe, I check the forum way too often. I could probably save lots of time coding up features to prevent myself from doing that. I wonder what the best way of doing that would be.
