one time "screening" of all words in queue

franco111222   December 16th, 2010 8:39p.m.

While studying i have added all the charachters and words i already knew to "my words". But there are as well a lot of words i have to study. So there are many many things in it i would like to move from queue-status to actually being in studying.

How can I accomplish this?

I just would like a possibility to pass once through all the words.

I just saw the thread "Possible to make list of characters yet to learn?" which would work just fine for me.

This was a huge pain in the butt for me when I started with Skritter, since I had to study them all in. However, the positive element of this is that you get a better feel for Skritter as a learning tool, and it enforces quite a bit of review that you might not have done otherwise.

Additionally, if you really want to blast that stuff into your studied words section, you could put them in your scratchpad and make sure track progress is checked, then study through the list to get it all added in a minimum amount of time.

ThankĀ“s for the comment. Share pain is half of a relief. :)

Anyway I think list preparation is done outside skritter much better even with just a spreadsheet as database.

And for that an export of only what is waiting in my queue is necessary. Or a complete list of everything that is in my personal skritter universe with all the stats, attributes, list references, ecc.

I have no ref to which database is used in skritter, but it can only be a quite simple query.

Hmm. List preparation would work much better in Skritter if you used an actual list instead of the Queue, which is not very flexible. We are going to rework it next to behave more like a list, which can give you a lot more power.

I've sent you an email listing all 824 words in your queue; hope this helps!

thanks.

It could be an idea to add the words i click studying not to the queue, but to a list called queue. Whenever i see a word i already know or i want to study i just click it. So my queue got fat. :)
