幢幢 chuang2chang2......

DaXia   March 6th, 2011 1:01p.m.

for some reason, skritter wants the second 幢 to be pronounced chang2, when its obviously meant to be pronounced just like the first one.

I have tried to edit it several times, but it doesnt get saved. What am I doing wrong?

You can't directly edit the pinyin, unfortunately. You can just submit correction requests to us, either via the contact page or via the feedback tab while studying, and we'll get them fixed up.

This one was just a typo; I've got it sorted out now. Thanks!

and pretty please with sugar on top, make this a "real" forum, with EDIT functions(!!!!!!!!!), fonts, attachments, links and all that stuff you normally have.

Sorry if I sound a bit harsh. But I dont know how many times I have posted something here, then wanted to edit something, be it typos or whatever.

I wanted to add that I have tried to remove this entry, and add it again, but still no luck.

Im sorry, but right now I feel that skritter is really "skritty"(I dont know what that is, but it sounds right). There is no structure.

People are complaining about issues that already have been resolved in other posts, and are asking for changes that a lot of people already have asked for earlier. And then you guys have to spend time that surely could be better spent, answering these questions that you've already answered.

How about a sticky post or an "updates" page, where you would post pending changes and known bugs and stuff. At least that would be a start!

I'm sure you guys are working really hard, but I'm starting to lose confidence in skritter because I feel that nothing is happening :/

And now I got an answer really fast, and feel bad about my previous outburst, but I cant EDIT my post!!
*CRY*

George just wrote about twenty more FAQ entries over the past few days, and Scott and I will each take care of a bunch more. We've analyzed the past six months' worth of feedback and identified common issues, and are either working to resolve them or are documenting them with various strategies, most of which should remove the need to ask us about stuff. That way, y'all will get answers faster and not have to wait. More news on this stuff soon.

I've got edit functionality on my list, too. Thanks for the feedback--it really is appreciated.
