Background sound with ear phones

Mandarinboy   May 11th, 2011 3:34a.m.

To not disturb my children when skrittering in bed i use earphones. I have always heard some strange sounds in the background when doing this but today i did mute the sound on skritter and then you more clearly hear that there is for most characters pronunciation(s) for another character/word. Rather fun to try to figure out what it is. It is very low but i think it is actually from other Skritterers sessions. There is a lot of 他们,中国,衣服 etc. I do have those words in my lists but they are not due in month so I do not think they are mine. There can also be several sounds overlapping each other. Any one else having this?

I noticed it a while ago also...it might be me, but sometimes I seem to hear words that are about to come up

That's weird. I specifically tried listening for it but still can't hear it.

The ghosts only speak when they have something to say.

The pronunciation files are set to play as quietly as I can possibly make them without having Flash skip the playing altogether, so you should be able to hear them (if you really want to) with high quality headphones or very high volume settings. It only loads sounds for words that are about to be studied, right.
