Feature Request - List priority?

domengland   March 30th, 2014 11:49a.m.

Hi,

Not sure how hard it would be, but could you possibly add a priority to lists that are active?

I know at the moment by default as skritter is cycling through it usually picks 2 or 3 words before moving onto the next list. But would it be possible for some to pick more or less? i.e. I like to prioritise working through my textbook vocab but also like to slowly drip in some hsk5 words. I can do this currently by remixing my textbook and having it in twice, but I also have a wordlist with in-class words I like to do at the same time. And as I'm always adding to it, its a bit hard to keep remixing?

Also side note, and perhaps I shouldn't be mentioning it here, but theres a slight glitch with the ios app when adding words. If you select the textbox to add words it always seems to highlight it instead of allow you add type in words. Not sure if it's just me, but i've tried it with a few ios devices and get a similar result.

Keep up the good work!

We aren't going to add a list priority feature, but one workaround would be to study your textbook list by itself and then double tap the manual add button to choose how many words to add from it. Then you could go back to studying all your words together, but you'd have control over how many new words from your textbook are added.

I've been trying to reproduce the glitch with the word adding textbox highlight, but it's inconsistent. There are two types of tap events that might be happening: a short tap and a long tap. Can you try 1) long tap, 2), short tap, 3) short tap and then long tap, and 4) long tap and then short tap, and then let me know which work (if any) and which don't? Thanks!

Short tap first never seems to do much. Think the only one I've found to work is long tap, wait a second or so after the "Copy | Define" dialogue comes up then quick tap.

It's just a slimmed down version of the ios browser right? Don't know much about ios, but would adding some js to the text area onclick work (i.e. .focus() )?

How about a stroke animation feature? I know I can go to Pleco but...
