Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Flash problem

Just thought I'd mention that, when using Firefox, Flash keeps freezing and requiring a reload of the page (I have the latest version of Flash). Changed to Chrome and so far no problems.

What kind of freezing are you seeing--the green loading ellipses in the upper left and no new words, or Flash locks up and is unresponsive, or the entire browser tab stops responding?

Please install the debug version of Flash player, which might help catch any errors that are happening:

(Look for the plugin content debugger for your operating system.)

Also, what's your exact Firefox version?
