Extreme challenge now complete for some?

葛修远   May 27th, 2011 5:16p.m.

Am I right in thinking some people will now have completed the extreme challenge by averaging an hour a day over 25 days since the start of the month?

atdlouis   May 27th, 2011 6:52p.m.

It's complete for me. I'm assuming the team will be getting in touch with all of us pretty soon for our shipping information.

joshwhitson13   May 27th, 2011 9:44p.m.

I think it's been complete for me for about two weeks but I'm not really keeping track.

jww1066   May 27th, 2011 9:48p.m.

Yeah, according to my figures I've studied about 30 hours over 23 days.

Lawnmower16   May 28th, 2011 1:06a.m.

Yep, I just did the math. I've completed the challenge! やった! Back to studying!

ricepetal   May 28th, 2011 1:08a.m.

I was wondering about this earlier. I was just thinking whether or not I'm really done. I started on May 1st, then I "finished" at 25 hours on the 25th. However, my statistics look like this:

Days Studied: 25/34 Hours Studied: 25 Minutes per Day: 45

Also, a few days I did not study at all. I'm gonna study a little bit more, but now I plan to cut back to 30 minutes a day.

Anyways, hopefully I've beaten the challenge!

jameshritz   May 28th, 2011 5:39a.m.

Done. Painful, but well, well worth it.

argelius   May 28th, 2011 9:45p.m.

I just finished it! Started on the 4th and I'm up to around 25.5 hours as of today.

It's been really great and I hope I'll be able to keep this pace up until JLPT in December.

Roland   May 29th, 2011 12:00a.m.

Studied 34/35 days during "last month" (assume, a "Skritter month" has more than 30 or 31 days) with total of 47 hours or 82 minutes per day. Hit my long term target of 3000 characters during this time, next target is to hit 6000 words. I always need to have a target, otherwise, I might lose focus and interest.

mcfarljw   May 29th, 2011 1:54a.m.

@Roland, I agree setting goals like that definitely increases motivation and productivity. It seems you'll be at 6000 words in no time at all!

Kai Carver   May 29th, 2011 7:15a.m.

I think I am done too:

Days Studied: 32/35 Hours Studied: 42 Minutes per Day: 73 Retention: 88.7%

It has taken a lot of time, but I feel a bit guilty because it feels more like a game than actual studying.

ME: I study Chinese writing for over 2 hours every day.
FRIEND: Wow I am very impressed!

ME: I spend over 2 hours every day playing a Flash game on the Internet.
FRIEND: Loser.

LinXiong   May 29th, 2011 5:26p.m.

I'm also done. Was done by... may 15th or something
